76ers forward Chandler out 2-3 weeks with hamstring injury
WASHINGTON, Sept. 29 -- The Philadelphia 76ers announced on Saturday that their forward Wilson Chandler will miss 2-3 weeks after hurting his left hamstring.
The forward got injured during the first half of the team's 104-84 win over Melbourne United in a preseason game on Friday.
Chandler, acquired from the Denver Nuggets this summer, has battled hamstring injuries throughout his career. The 10-year veteran is expected to give Philadelphia more depth on the bench.
Chandler started 71 of the 74 games he played for Denver last season, averaging 10 points and 5.4 rebounds.
